Support Services Division

The Division is now commanded by Captain Tommy Dyle, a veteran officer with over 15 years of experience in all facets of law enforcement. The Support Services Division Commander currently manages the Corrections, Communications, Records and Animal Control Sections of the Picayune Police Department.

Each member of the Support Services Division is dedicated to the department mission of Partnership, Pride and Progress. The Criminal Records Section of the Picayune Police Department recently moved into the new location at 203 Goodyear Blvd- A. L. Franklin Annex. The Records Section handles all adult and juvenile criminal records along with traffic related accident records that occur inside the City Limits of Picayune. HOURS OF OPERATION: MONDAY - THURSDAY -- 0700 - 1730.  CLOSED ON FRIDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.

FEES FOR SERVICES:

$15.00 - Accident Report

$15.00 - Fingerprinting - MUST SUPPLY OWN FINGERPRINTING CARD. FINGERPRINT CARD MUST BE SIGNED AT TIME OF FINGERPRINTING IN FRONT OF RECORDS CLERK. 

$15.00 - Incident Report  - plus $1.00 per page for 5th and subsequent pages.

$20.00 - CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK (BACKGROUND CHECK) 

$15.00 - RESEARCH OF RECORDS - $15.00 PER HOUR WITH A MINIMUM OF (01) ONE HOUR, PLUS THE COST OF REPORT. 

$10.00 - PHOTOGRAPH REPRODUCTION, $10.00 PER PHOTOGRAPH PLUS ANY PROCESSING COST.

$25.00 - VIDEO TAPE REPRODUCTION. 

MAY PAY WITH CASH OR CHECK. WHEN PAYING WITH CASH, MUST HAVE EXACT CHANGE. 

MUST HAVE A PHOTO I. D. FOR ANY WALK-IN SERVICE REQUEST. 

The Communications Section provides 24-hour a day coverage for any type of complaint. The Communications Sections handles citizen calls along with Emergency 911 calls. The Communications Section also dispatches City Fire Department calls.

The Corrections Section personnel provides 24-hour a day coverage. The Corrections Section is responsible for inmate processing into and out of the Corrections Facility, inmate safety, health and welfare while incarcerated.
